nyue. "Write this character."Yun Qianyue took the brush with her small hands gripping tightly onto it as if afraid that it would slip out.Seeing this, Yun Muhuan shook his head and pointed out gently,...Chapter 59

Cai Lian heard the footsteps of Leng Shaozhuo approaching and trembled slightly, hurriedly moving closer to Yun Qianyue. Her fear was evident as she stuttered out her words, "Miss, what...what should we do"

Yun Qianyue's expression remained unchanged, calm as ever. Before Leng Shaozhuo could lift the curtain of the carriage, she did so herself. She looked at him with a cold and indifferent gaze, "I'm not mute! Nor am I an idiot! But your voice is by far the most unpleasant that I've heard. It took me quite some time to feel as if my ears were infested with worms."

"Yun Qianyue! What did you say Are you courting death" Leng Shaozhuo became enraged instantly.

Looking at the man in front of her, Yun Qianyue noted that he was roughly the same age as Rong Jing, Ye Qingran, Yun Muhan, and Night Tianyu. However, this fellow's appearance paled in comparison to theirs. A magnificent robe adorned his body, along with a debauched air about him. His complexion was yellowish-waxy and his steps unsteady—clear signs of habitual indulgence in wine and women. Could such an individual really be the young prince of the Xiaoqing王府 (Prince) It truly was an insult to the title.

Yun Qianyue had a perfect score! So this world wasn't filled entirely with handsome men whose mere presence caused fruit to fall from trees!

Yun Qianyue sized up Leng Shaozhuo from head to toe. Finally, she gave him a disdainful look and pulled down the curtain. Arguing with such an individual was beneath her intelligence.

"Miss" Cai Lian asked softly. Seeing Yun Qianyue remain calm, she also calmed herself slightly. Although she was still nervous, recalling that Prince Xiao usually came out on the losing end in confrontations with Miss, she wasn't as afraid anymore.

“What’s his name” Yun Qianyue tilted her head to ask Cai Lian.

"The young prince is called Leng Shaozhuo!" Cai Lian sighed helplessly. Her mistress couldn’t even recall the names of those with whom she had deep enmities, and wondered whether it was due to how utterly disappointing Prince Xiao was or if her mistress simply had a poor memory.

"What a pity for such a name!" Yun Qianyue snorted.

Just as Cai Lian was about to speak, she heard Leng Shaozhuo outside the carriage roar with anger. "Yun Qianyue! What kind of look is that"

"The one you see," Yun Qianyue replied coolly.

The curtain was abruptly pulled open. Leng Shaozhuo glared at Yun Qianyue, his face contorted in rage, eyes fixated on her like they were about to burst into flames and incinerate her. He grinned wickedly as he spoke with a waxen complexion, "Yun Qianyue, I heard your martial arts skills are gone. Let's see what you have left to be arrogant today!"

Glancing at the twenty or so burly men standing behind Leng Shaozhuo, Yun Qianyue calmly said, “Without my martial arts skills, I can still be arrogant!”

"Hmph! Then let me see how you manage to be arrogant today. If Prince Xiao doesn't make you weep and beg for mercy before avenging Jiao Jiao's death, then I’ll write my name backwards!" Leng Shaozhuo sneered viciously.

Behind him, he waved his hand and shouted, "Attack! Today, this young prince will teach this woman a lesson!"

"Yes, Your Highness!" The twenty-odd burly men immediately surged forward.

"Miss…," Cai Lian quickly hugged Yun Qianyue, her small body blocking the way in front of her.

“What are you afraid of Move aside!” Yun Qianyue pushed away Cai Lian and snatched up the reins. She jumped lightly off the carriage as the twenty or so burly men attacked. With a flick of her whip, she sent it flying towards them with great force.

The crackle of the whip echoed loudly as two leading figures were struck simultaneously, staggering back in pain. Yun Qianyue seized the opportunity to deliver several more sharp cracks from her whip, hitting everyone in line without fail. They all recoiled and staggered backwards.

"Attack! You useless lot!" Leng Shaozhuo was dumbfounded by Yun Qianyue's strength despite her lack of martial arts skills. Standing to one side, he shouted angrily.

The twenty or so men surged forward once more, but were again forced back by Yun Qianyue’s whip strikes that lacked any discernible pattern yet hit their targets effectively, leaving them unable to move for a long time.

For quite some time, the twenty-odd figures found themselves unable to approach her and remained unharmed. Instead, they were left in a state of disarray from Yun Qianyue’s relentless attacks.

"You useless scum! If you don't take care of this woman for me today, I'll have all of you executed!" Leng Shaozhuo's eyes blazed with fury as he watched his men prove to be so ineffective. He issued a harsh ultimatum.

His words seemed to fuel them as they disregarded their pain and rushed forward en masse.

Yun Qianyue immediately discarded the whip and, bare-handed, faced off against the twenty or so men. Having undergone years of special training in Military Intelligence Bureau (MIB), she did not take these individuals seriously. In a matter of moments, two fell to the ground, followed by another dozen or so who were soon incapacitated with broken limbs and battered bodies. Yun Qianyue's movements were fluid and precise: vaults, spinning kicks, diagonal slashes, straight punches—each executed flawlessly without any extraneous motion.

“Attack! All of you attack!” Leng Shaozhuo shouted furiously when he saw those on the ground not getting back up. Regardless of how much he screamed, they remained unable to rise from their painful positions. His eyes spewed fire as he raged, "A pack of good-for-nothings; I've been wasting my money raising you."

Yun Qianyue snorted coldly and swiftly knocked out the remaining dozen men with a few punches and kicks. She then wiped her hands clean and looked at Leng Shaozhuo, arching an eyebrow disdainfully as she said, "Still not convinced Come on!"

"Do you think I'm afraid of you" Leng Shaozhuo threw away his fan and lunged at Yun Qianyue.

Yun Qianyue sidestepped him easily. As he swung another punch, she dodged again; when the third punch came, she moved to avoid it once more. After several exchanges, seeing Leng Shaozhuo's straightforward punches aimed at her face without any form or strategy, she realized that this so-called young prince was utterly unskilled in martial arts. She let out a derisive snort and decided not to waste time with him, suddenly striking him directly in the chin. With a pained cry, Leng Shaozhuo crumpled to the ground.

Yun Qianyue halted her assault and looked down at him from above, "What now Not convinced yet Miss will play along with you today!"

"You... You dare hit me..." Leng Shaozhu held his chin, in severe pain that he could barely speak.

"It's you who provoked me!" Yun Qianmo said coldly.

"You damn Yun Qianmo... It's you who forced this young master! Don't blame me if I'm not nice to you!" Leng Shaozhu glared fiercely at Yun Qianmo. Then, holding his chin, he shouted, "Cold Guard, come out!"

Hardly had Leng Shaozhu spoken before more than ten black-clad guards appeared behind him, each wearing a badge of the Prince's Palace. They surrounded Yun Qianmo.

Yun Qianmo was startled. She hadn't expected this guy to have secret agents as well, but then again, he was the young prince of the Prince’s Palace so it wasn’t surprising at all. Frowning, she looked at the secret agents surrounding her and knew that while her skills were enough to take down ordinary people without inner strength, taking on secret agents would be like a chicken fighting an eagle.

"Beat this woman up for me today!" Leng Shaozhu lay on the ground and shouted.

The Prince's Palace’s secret agents looked at Yun Qianmo but hesitated to move. After all, Yun Qianmo was no ordinary person.

“Didn’t you hear This young prince orders you to fight her!” With every sentence Leng Shaozhu shouted, pain shot up from his chin. At this moment, he didn't care about Yun Qianmo’s identity at all; what mattered to him was that he wanted revenge for the new and old grievances today, preferably by killing this woman! Seeing the secret agents hesitate, he snarled, “If you don’t follow my orders, I’ll get Father to execute you when we return.”

No sooner had he spoken than more than ten people pounced on Yun Qianmo simultaneously.

At this moment, Mo Li fell from the sky and hugged Yun Qianmo, dodging the forceful palm winds of the dozen or so men. In a blink, they were out of range.

Before Mo Li's figure was even steady on the ground, Leng Shaozhu shouted again, "Kill them! Kill both of them!"

The dozen or so people rushed at him again, their dark palm winds like waves surging forward.

Yun Qianmo’s eyes turned cold. She realized that she shouldn’t have hesitated earlier. With a cold voice full of anger, she said, "Leng Shaozhu, do you think it's okay to kill someone in broad daylight"

"I’m going to kill you!" Leng Shaozhu stood up with the help of two strong men. He looked at the dozen or so secret agents attacking Mo Li alone and sneered at Yun Qianmo.

Yun Qianmo had thought that all along, Leng Shaozhu was a pampered nobleman who couldn't do anything but now she realized that he was also a vicious little man. He actually wanted to kill her! She narrowed her eyes and glared at his smug face with cold killing intent, warning him in a frosty tone, "I advise you to order your men to stop immediately or I’ll make sure they regret it!"

"Yun Qianmo, do you still dare to be arrogant now It’s you who will regret it. Do you think you can threaten this young prince" Leng Shaozhu said fiercely after a pause, "Kill her! Hurry up!"

“I’m afraid you won’t succeed!” Yun Qianmo reached out to pull several hairpins from her head and flung them at the secret agents surrounding her. Without putting too much strength into it, she heard a few screams as soon as the pins flew out. Several first-tier secret agents had been hit in their throats.

Mo Li was stunned; he hadn’t expected Yun Qianmo to kill four or five of the Prince's Palace’s top tier secret agents with just one move. He couldn't believe her skills were still so good despite having lost all her martial arts abilities! Not wanting to be distracted, he swept his palm winds and two secret agents flew backwards.

Half of the dozen men had been dealt with in a moment.

Leng Shaozhu’s face changed. If earlier he just wanted to kill Yun Qianmo, now he was determined to do it at any cost. He no longer cared about his chin and shouted, "Kill them! Whoever kills these two will get ten thousand taels of gold from this young prince."

The secret agents who had been hesitant earlier instantly went all out.

Yun Qianmo was in Mo Li’s arms. She could feel the hostility pressing down on her, almost making her unable to breathe. The six remaining men were clearly intent on killing them and no less vicious than the dozen from before.

Yun Qianmo reached out for another hairpin but found that she had already pulled off all of them. She frowned and tried to feel for Mo Li’s head, but this guy avoided her touch and said, "Young miss, let me take you away first!"

"Okay! Running isn't shameful!" Yun Qianmo nodded and withdrew her hand.

“Wishful thinking!” Leng Shaozhu had been watching Mo Li and Yun Qianmo and heard their conversation. He immediately shouted, "Don’t let them leave! Kill them!"

The six secret agents were told to surround Mo Li and Yun Qianmo tightly.

Mo Li could escape on his own but with Yun Qianmo in tow, it was a different story. For the moment, he had no choice but to fight the six remaining secret agents who all used deadly attacks.

"Throw me out!" Yun Qianmo decided instantly.

“No way, too dangerous!” Mo Li shook his head and said, “If I throw you away, these people will definitely rush after you. In my chest pocket is a flare; take it out and throw it! The secret agents of the Prince’s Palace must come to save us when they see it.”

“Okay!” Yun Qianmo reached into Mo Li's chest pocket.

"Killing in broad daylight! Leng Shaozhu, how dare you!" At this moment, a familiar voice suddenly sounded. Though the tone was gentle as the breeze, it immediately drowned out all the killing intent around them.

Yun Qianyue suddenly stopped her hand, turned around, and saw a black carriage that had appeared without notice nearby. The curtains of the carriage were lifted up to reveal Rong Jing's poetic and picturesque face. His expression was calm as his gaze was equally indifferent; however, it wasn't directed at her but rather on Leng Shaozhuo who stood far away watching the battle.

Upon hearing the sound, Leng Shaozhuo was startled and turned around abruptly. When he saw Rong Jing, his body seemed to tremble violently.

"Stop fighting immediately!" Rong Jing spoke in a clear voice that carried a hint of seriousness.

"Young Lord Jing, this is a matter between me and Yun Qianyue; it's best if you don't intervene," Leng Shaozhuo was still scared of Rong Jing but didn’t want to miss the opportunity to kill Yun Qianyue today.

"Even after mobilizing the secret guards from your princely mansion, this is still considered a private matter I've never heard such a thing before!" Rong Jing arched his eyebrows slightly.

"Of course it's a personal matter! Yun Qianyue hit me and killed my secret guard; how could we let that go" Leng Shaozhuo immediately said.

' "It seems you want to kill her no matter what" Rong Jing asked.

"She's just a stinking woman. She... "

"Xian Ge, go and kill all the people who are killing others in broad daylight," Leng Shaozhuo hadn't finished speaking when Rong Jing interrupted him with his voice carrying a chill despite its warmth. He emphasized, "None shall be spared!"

“Yes!” Xian Ge leaped up and rushed towards the secret guards surrounding Mo Li and Yun Qianyue. With a flash of his sword, one of Prince Xiaoqing's secret guards was instantly impaled.

"Young Lord Jing, what is your intention" Leng Shaozhuo’s expression drastically changed.

"Since Prince Xiaorui said it’s personal, then I will also consider it as such. Private matters should naturally be settled privately. Now that Yun Qianyue from the Yun王府 (Yun Manor) is under my jurisdiction for a period of time, her private matters are also mine. If you want to kill her, I certainly cannot sit idly by!" Rong Jing said with a light tone.

"You..." Leng Shaozhuo stared at Rong Jing with eyes full of anger.

Rong Jing no longer looked at Leng Shaozhuo and instead turned his gaze to the fighting arena. With Xian Ge’s participation, Mo Li was free from restriction, and their combined efforts resulted in the remaining few secret guards of Prince Xiaoqing lying dead in a pool of blood.

Yun Qianyue came out of Mo Li’s embrace and gave a glance at the twelve black-clad men on the ground. There were exactly twelve, neither more nor less. She had long warned Leng Shaozhuo not to provoke her; it was his own fault for wanting revenge because he was blinded by pig fat in his brain!

Leng Shaozhuo tore his gaze away from Rong Jing and saw that the twelve secret guards who were close to him had all died. His body softened, causing him to fall onto the ground. These twelve secret guards had always followed him; he never thought they would die today. With a swollen face, Leng Shaozhuo turned his angry gaze back towards Rong Jing, intending to let out a torrent of abuse but stopped when he saw the indifferent look in Rong Jing’s eyes; fear clouded over his furious eyes.

Rong Jing merely glanced at Leng Shaozhuo and then looked toward Yun Qianyue. Seeing her disheveled hair and blood-stained clothes, he frowned slightly and said, "Every day you cause trouble."

"How can this be my fault He stopped my carriage to beat me; it’s his own doing!" Yun Qianyue snorted.

"What are you still standing there for Do you think your current appearance is good-looking Get over here and get into the carriage," Rong Jing's gaze fell on Yun Qianyue’s arm where her sleeves had been slashed. Despite not being injured, a snowy-white arm was revealed. His eyes tightened as he spoke with a deeper tone.

Yun Qianyue followed his gaze to look at her half-exposed arm and thought that she had luckily dodged the attack in time without getting hurt; she listened to Rong Jing's words and walked towards him. She took a few steps, got into the carriage, and remembered that she had her own vehicle. However, since they were heading to his place anyway, she didn’t feel like getting out.

"Prince Xiaorui, if you don't want Emperor to know about your ambush on the street today, it's best to settle this matter privately," Rong Jing threw a sentence at Leng Shaozhuo before letting down the curtains and giving instructions to Xian Ge: "Return home."

"Yes, Young Lord!" Xian Ge returned to the front of the carriage, whipped his whip, turned the carriage around, and headed north towards Prince Rong’s residence.

Cai Lian had already been frightened silly inside the carriage but now regained her senses and immediately instructed the driver to drive. The coachman quickly picked up Yun Qianyue’s discarded whip, climbed onto the carriage, whipped his horse, and followed Rong Jing's carriage towards Prince Rong’s residence.

Mo Li gave Leng Shaozhuo a cold glance before lightly touching his foot and leaving without following Yun Qianyue. He headed towards an elder of the Yun Manor.

Leng Shaozhuo sat on the ground, eyes fixed on Rong Jing’s departing carriage for a long while until he spat out in anger: "Rong Jing, what kind of person are you Just a sickly man. I'll remember this today." Then turning to his group of men, he barked, "You useless lot, get up and clean up here right now! If there's any trace left behind, I’ll take your lives."

"Yes, Your Highness!" The twenty-odd large men immediately got up and endured their pain to start cleaning the corpses.

The group worked swiftly. Within two tea breaks, they had cleaned the street spotlessly. Leng Shaozhuo led his people with the dead bodies back to Prince Xiaoqing’s mansion, still grumbling all the way.

When Leng Shaozhuo stopped Yun Qianyue's carriage, the commoners had already fled far away in fear of being implicated. Only those with a bit more courage hid in corners to watch the spectacle; now that everyone else had left, they came out and gathered in groups to discuss what had just happened in hushed tones. They were used to Leng Shaozhuo’s oppressive behavior, but now seeing him get beaten back by Yun Qianyue and Young Lord Jing, they felt a sense of relief despite not daring to speak openly.

Inside Rong Jing's carriage, Yun Qianyue thought that Leng Shaozhuo definitely wouldn't let this go easily after today’s incident; she would have to be more cautious when going out in the future. If it weren’t for Rong Jing appearing suddenly, even with her and Mo Li being rescued by the mansion guards, they might still have been injured.

Since getting into the carriage, Yun Qianyue hadn't heard a word from Rong Jing; she looked up to ask: "Why were you here"

"Grandpa Yun sent someone to inform me last night that you would be going to Prince Rong's mansion today. I was waiting for you but got bored, so when I heard you had been intercepted and a fight broke out, I came over to see the commotion; who knew you’d need my help," replied Rong Jing with indifference.

"If it weren't for my loss of martial arts skills, if not for the fact that there are more people on the other side and I need your help to save myself" Yun Qianyue snorted.

Rong Jing glanced at Yun Qianyue. "You yourself should be most clear about how big a grudge you have with Leng Shaozhuo. You ought to know that he has been waiting for you to leave the estate these days! If you dare to leave the estate without any preparation today, I don't know whether I should praise your great courage or scold you for underestimating yourself and being so foolish."

Yun Qianyue felt conflicted. She was not really Yun Qianyue; how could she possibly know about the grudge this body had with Leng Shaozhuo The words stuck in her throat, neither to be spat out nor swallowed, truly uncomfortable, leaving her speechless for a long while.

Rong Jing withdrew his gaze from Yun Qianyue and said to those outside: "Turn the carriage around; go to Divine Rank Pavilion!"

"Yes!" Xiang Ge responded.

"Hey, aren't we going to your estate Why are we heading to Divine Rank Pavilion" Yun Qianyue asked.

Rong Jing frowned and said disdainfully, "You're covered in blood and filth, making one want to vomit. Naturally, I will strip off this dirty clothing of yours for a change. Do you really want to enter my estate looking like this"

Yun Qianyue raised her arm and frowned as she smelt herself; the smell of blood was indeed unpleasant but not so bad that it made one vomit, as he had said. She snorted, "You're really a stickler for rules."

Rong Jing seemed to have not heard.

Yun Qianyue then continued, "I went to your estate at the order of my old man grandfather who asked you to teach me to read and understand accounts. Since you already know about this now and seem to agree to it, what is there for me to do If I accompany you to Cloud Prince's Estate, won't that dirty up your place"

"I have agreed to teach you how to read and write, but didn’t say I would teach you at the Cloud Prince’s Estate," Rong Jing replied.

“Where then” Yun Qianyue asked in surprise.

Rong Jing looked at Yun Qianyue. Seeing her disapproving look about to appear, he raised his brows slightly and slowly said, "Do you think I would get up early every day to go to the Cloud Prince's Estate just to teach you What did you give me in exchange for this Is it worth my daily trips there Since you want to learn, naturally we will meet at Rong Prince’s Estate."

Yun Qianyue frowned but didn't argue; he was indeed right.

"At the crack of dawn every day, report at the Rong Prince’s Estate," Rong Jing threw in another statement.

The sound of a rooster crowing immediately contradicted him. "No way! It's too early!"

Rong Jing said, “Early There is an old saying that one should rise to practice swordsmanship at the sound of a rooster. Scholars across the land get up at this time.”

"I am not a scholar and I don't plan on becoming famous overnight; no way! Postpone it further." Yun Qianyue shook her head.

Rong Jing said, “This is my rule for teaching you. If you do not agree, forget about it. This prince is resting in bed due to illness and truly have no extra energy left to take on such a troublesome task.” He was leaning against the carriage wall as he spoke in an indifferent tone.

"Rong Jing, one shouldn't be so strict!" Yun Qianyue glared at him. She thought if it were not for Old King Cloud's hard rule that she could only learn from Rong Jing and Nite Tianqing, would she have to stick with him

“One indeed shouldn’t be overly demanding; however, in your case, I can't afford to go easy on you.” Rong Jing closed his eyes as if extremely tired. He didn’t want to argue any further and sealed Yun Qianyue's mouth by saying, "So it’s settled! If you say another word, we’ll change the time to midnight!"

The words stuck in Yun Qianyue's throat; she opened her mouth but no sound came out. She only looked at Rong Jing, seeing him leaning weakly against the carriage wall as if a gust of wind could topple him over. Yet, she truly dared not argue further with this person who was capable of doing what he said. Feeling too lazy to continue arguing, she thought that her previous life also required getting up before dawn every day and decided to just resume her old routine. After a moment's silence, she asked, "How long will I be learning for"

"That depends on your talent," Rong Jing replied.

“What if you’re never satisfied” Yun Qianyue snorted. “Wouldn't I have to learn forever then”

Rong Jing did not even lift his eyelids, lowering his voice slightly as he said, "Just wish that Princess Qingwan recovers sooner so the Cloud Prince can make time for you and won’t need me anymore."

Yun Qianyue remained silent. She hoped the princess would get well tomorrow; though Cloud Muhan was indeed rigid, at least she knew his heart wasn't completely blackened. This one truly isn't human.

The two no longer spoke, and the carriage fell into silence.

About half a stick of incense later, the carriage stopped. Xiang Ge's voice came from outside: "Prince, we've arrived at Divine Rank Pavilion!"

"Bring the head clerk over," Rong Jing said as he leaned against the carriage wall without moving.

Xiang Ge immediately left; soon a person rushed over. Before getting close, an extremely respectful female voice sounded out. The voice was not young but mature and full of experience: “Linglang greets Prince, may I ask what you wish for”

"Come take a look at her figure and pick out a suitable set of clothes," Rong Jing said.

The woman outside responded and immediately came forward, reaching out to lift the curtain of the carriage. When she saw Yun Qianmo sitting next to Rong Jing in the carriage, she seemed stunned for a moment as she scanned their proximity which was less than an arm’s length apart. Her gaze flickered slightly before she stared at Yun Qianmo intently. Before Yun Qianmo could even recognize her appearance, she dropped down the curtain and responded, "I will get it right away, Young Marquis please wait a moment."

"Alright!" Rong Jing's voice echoed out.

Yun Qianmo frowned but remained seated. It would be foolish not to accept free clothes.

The woman named Linlang was quick-footed and soon returned with an outfit which she handed to Xiangge, respectfully addressing Rong Jing, "Young Marquis, do you like this one If it doesn't suit your taste, I can go get another."

"No need. She is the same regardless of what she wears. Whether or not I like it isn’t important." With his eyes still closed, Rong Jing instructed Xiangge, "Bring it in. Let’s head back to the estate."

Xiangge lifted the curtain and tossed the outfit inside before urging the carriage forward with a flick of her whip.

The woman watched as the carriage departed and pondered over Rong Jing's words for a moment, then she suddenly smiled. Seeing that the carriage was no longer in sight, she turned around and cheerfully walked away.

Yun Qianmo did not look at the outfit but glared at Rong Jing, cursing, "A dog’s mouth can’t utter pearls!"

Rong Jing opened his eyes to glance at the clothing still on the carriage seat before closing them again and saying, "Hurry up and change."

"Should I change like this" Yun Qianmo asked.

"Don’t you want to change then" Rong Jing countered.

"I meant am I supposed to change right here" Yun Qianmo fell silent for a moment, looking at Rong Jing and gritting her teeth as she questioned.

Rong Jing was quiet as well. With his eyes closed, he lightly fluttered his lashes but remained expressionless, stating matter-of-factly, "If not changing here, do you want to change outside the carriage You don’t have much meat on your bones anyway, so there’s nothing to see. Don’t worry; I won’t look. If I did, it might blind my eyes."

Yun Qianmo was instantly furious. Although she was still a young girl who had not fully developed, she had her chest and buttocks. This brat clearly looked down on her and she immediately retaliated, "You have even less to look at; you can’t compare with me! Though I don’t have much meat either, my body has more flesh than yours. You’re just a bamboo pole or a stalk of hemp – not an ounce of broad-shouldered manly muscle. Mocking others Don’t be so hypocritical."

"So you like broad-shouldered men then Like the cold butcher Cao Zhuo leading over twenty thugs" Rong Jing suddenly opened his eyes, locking a clear gaze on Yun Qianmo.

Yun Qianmo instantly felt nauseous and looked up at Rong Jing with a black line across her face, grinding her teeth as she said, "Not like that!"

"Since it’s not like that, do you mean butchers Do you fancy them" Rong Jing raised an eyebrow.

Yun Qianmo imagined a burly man with a beard and wielding a large cleaver. She felt nauseous again and ground her teeth, "Not him either!"

"What then" Rong Jing continued to ask.

"None of the above. Why are you asking Do you want to develop some muscle yourself" Yun Qianmo scoffed, "I think I’ll leave it at that. You’re probably destined to remain a bamboo pole for life with no potential."

Rong Jing suddenly closed his eyes without further inquiry. Just as Yun Qianmo thought he was done speaking, he said again, "It seems you have no developmental potential either. Even if your body changes, it won’t be much better than this state. We’re alike in that aspect."

Yun Qianmo rolled her eyes and ignored him, vowing to transform into a devilishly beautiful woman just to blind his aluminum dog’s eyes.

"Hurry up and change! Once you’ve changed, throw this clothes away right away," Rong Jing urged.

Yun Qianmo glanced at the outfit then at Rong Jing. She remained seated and said, "I won’t change it; I’ll disgust you to death!"

"Are you waiting for me to help" Rong Jing opened his eyes again and asked, "Don’t mind helping if you want. I can wash my hands afterward."

Crap! Yun Qianmo was thoroughly irritated. She reached out and pulled off her outerwear in a single swift motion, tossing it onto Rong Jing’s head before snarling, "Wash your damn head!"

Rong Jing caught the flying garment and threw it outside. He glanced at her with a slow drawl, "Indeed, you have no meat to speak of; there is nothing to see here. I was right."

Yun Qianmo pretended not to hear him as she took a deep breath and picked up the clothes from the carriage to put them on. However, this outfit was overly complicated compared even to what she had just taken off, making her furious. She pulled hard, feeling the smooth fabric beneath her hands, then examined it closely; she realized this clothing must be quite expensive.

"This is made of Tiansi silk and a single garment costs thousands of coins. Are you sure you want to tear it" Rong Jing said.

Yun Qianmo’s grip immediately softened.

Rong Jing remained silent, watching Yun Qianmo struggle with the outfit for some time before he spoke again, "Come here; I’ll help. You’re too clumsy to put on a simple piece of clothing yourself. Indeed, you need to learn.

Yun Qianyue didn't even lift her head and harrumphed, "No need!"

"Come over here!" Rong Jing stretched out his hand to her.

Yun Qianyue dodged it and glanced at him. She said in a sarcastic tone, "This maiden cannot afford to inconvenience Young Master Jing. Your hands are very precious! If they get dirty, you'd probably need to wash them with soap for pigs."

Rong Jing didn’t get angry but rather laughed. He looked at Yun Qianyue who was struggling in her half-dressed state and said, "Very well, then take your time getting dressed. I hope that by the time we reach Prince Rong's Manor you will have managed to put on your clothes properly. Otherwise, there are many people and eyes at Prince Rong’s place. Some might even be looking for something to do; they would all love to watch the commotion."

Yun Qianyue seemed oblivious. She was not wearing just anything under her clothes anyway. In the 21st century, many women wore bikinis when swimming at the seaside, with their bare breasts and thighs exposed like a snowy white expanse. But she was now wearing an undershirt and a tight-fitting blouse underneath her outerwear, completely covered up. There wasn't anything to expose. She glared at Rong Jing and said, "I don’t need you either. If your people in Prince Rong’s Manor want to look at me, let them see for themselves. Whose face will they lose"

"Of course it would be yours; what do I have to do with that" Rong Jing replied slowly.

"Yes, you’re right, we don’t have anything to do with each other, not even half a silver coin. If so, why am I still sitting in your carriage " Yun Qianyue suddenly yanked off her half-dressed clothes. She was sick of this bastard's nonsense. Reaching out, she pulled up the curtain and prepared to jump down.

Rong Jing grabbed her with quick reflexes and asked, “Where are you going”

Yun Qianyue turned around and gave him a gentle smile, "I’ve made my decision. I don’t need your teachings anymore. I’ll go find Ye Tianqiong to teach me. He is apparently idle and willing to make peace with me; he will be delighted when he sees me. At least there was some love between us in the past, so he won't mind having anything to do with me compared to you who have nothing to do with me."

Rong Jing's expression froze.

Yun Qianyue looked at his frozen face and said again, "My grandfather says that only the two of you are qualified to teach me. So if you cannot accommodate this little speck of sand, I will go to Ye Tianqiong instead! I think although he might not have liked me before, he seems to like me now. Perhaps we could develop something."

A layer of frost suddenly appeared on Rong Jing’s already stiffened face.

"I’m almost coming of age soon. As a maiden, it is indeed inappropriate for me to spend the day with your noble title every day. It will affect my reputation as a lady. If I were to be around Ye Tianqiong instead, things would be different. We do have some connection after all, and others wouldn't find anything newsworthy in that regard. Furthermore, there is an ancestral engagement between the Yun王府和皇室,我是雲王府的嫡女,他是太子殿下。

The Yun王府 has an ancestral engagement with the imperial family, and I am the legitimate daughter of the Yun王府. He is the Crown Prince. If there are any developments in our relationship, this matter would naturally fall into place.

Rong Jing's poetic and picturesque features were further veiled by a layer of mist atop the frost.

Yun Qianyue no longer looked at Rong Jing and shouted to Xuan Ge, "Stop the carriage. I want to get off!"

Xuan Ge was sweating profusely as he heard Yun Qianyue's command but held back from responding.

"Hey, I said stop! Didn't you hear me" Yun Qianyue shouted again.

Xuan Ge pretended not to hear and seemed deaf.

Seeing that she couldn’t get anyone’s attention, Yun Qianyue decided to jump out of the carriage. She tried to shake off Rong Jing's hand but found his grip incredibly strong. Anger flashed in her eyes as she stared at him, "Let go! I want to get out of this carriage. Why are you holding me back"

Rong Jing narrowed his eyes and didn’t reply.

Yun Qianyue noticed Rong Jing's expression and trembled slightly.

The two stared at each other.

A moment later, Rong Jing looked at Yun Qianyue and slowly said with emphasis, "Are you sure about getting out of the carriage Don’t regret it!" With that, he released his grip on her hand.

Yun Qianyue rubbed her wrist and rolled her eyes. Ignoring Rong Jing, she lifted the curtain again to jump down from the carriage. If she were threatened by him, she would have lived in vain for her past life.

"Xuan Ge, turn around and head to the imperial palace instead. Since both Crown Prince and Miss Qianyue seem to wish to marry each other, I will report this matter to His Majesty. Let me help them fulfill their wishes! This way, some people won’t be so eager to marry into the Crown Prince’s household. The Emperor would listen to my suggestions, especially regarding that painting which was burned by me. If I explain in detail how the technique of the painter is inferior even to that of an ordinary artist, His Majesty will definitely want to investigate further." Rong Jing leaned back and instructed Xuan Ge.

Yun Qianyue froze mid-motion as she tried getting out of the carriage.

"Yes, Your Excellency!" Xuan Ge immediately responded and turned around.

"Rong Jing!" Yun Qianyue spun back to glare at Rong Jing.

“What is it” Rong Jing raised an eyebrow.

Yun Qianyue clenched her teeth for a while and thought that she could never win against this heartless one. He wasn’t human anymore; he had become a dark god. After a long silence, seeing Xuan Ge actually turn the direction of the carriage, she retracted her leg from jumping out and pulled down the curtain. She slowly said each word carefully, "This dress is too complicated for me to put on by myself. You’d better help me!"

Rong Jing smiled softly with a tender voice, “Alright!”tartled and looked up at Rong Jing, "Young Master, Miss Qianyue..."Just clear everything away," Rong Jing instructed."Yes!" Qingsang circled around Yun Qianyue to enter the room, clearing away leftove...
