When Li An saw that Li Yi had left, he immediately perked up and called out to Ni Xuanyi, "Xuanyan, we can't eat yet. We don't have much to do inside the house, so why don't we go for a walk I'll show you my big garden; it's definitely on par with imperial gardens!"

Ni Xuanyi had long been fascinated by the grand garden outside Li Family’s compound, and upon hearing what Li An said, she immediately followed him out enthusiastically.

Li Family’s garden was indeed exceptionally large, featuring pavilions, terraces, bridges over streams, fountains, and swimming pools—anything one could think of, you would find it in this vast garden.

Following Li An, Ni Xuanyi curiously explored the surroundings. Before she knew it, they had walked quite far, with a small greenhouse ahead filled with many rare orchids and peonies, their colors vibrant and stunningly beautiful.

"So pretty!" Ni Xuanyi exclaimed happily as she ran over to admire them closely, bending down to smell the flowers.

She was absorbed in admiring the flowers inside the greenhouse for a while before turning around, only to realize that Li An had disappeared!

Ni Xuanyi waited on the spot for a moment but seeing no sign of Li An, she felt something might be amiss and started retracing her steps.

As she walked back, she suddenly heard barking ahead. When they first arrived here, there had been no signs of any dogs!

Ni Xuanyi, out of curiosity, walked forward and turned a corner. Before her was a large dog-breeding base that was so impressive in size and cleanliness—it even had lush green lawns laid across the ground.

The variety of dogs here was extensive but all were large breeds—Siberian Huskies, German Shepherds, Chow Chows, Samoyeds, and even Tibetan Mastiffs!

Ni Xuanyi, who had a wild streak and loved dogs dearly, was overjoyed at the sight. Her eyes sparkled as she ran towards them.

Seeing a stranger approach, the staff of the dog-breeding base immediately stepped forward. A manager in white protective gear politely stopped Ni Xuanyi from going further: "Miss, these dogs are very aggressive; you shouldn't go any deeper or risk getting hurt."

"I just want to look through the fence," Ni Xuanyi earnestly pointed at the dogs.

"Well..." The manager seemed hesitant. These were Young Master Er's dogs, and if he brought friends over, they could look from outside the fence. However, this unexpected visitor was someone he had never seen before: "Miss, are you a friend of my Young Master Er"

"I'm not Young Master Er's friend; I’m a friend of your Big Master Li Yi." Ni Xuanyi wanted to see the dogs and could only mention Li Yi.

“Oh! So you’re Big Master Li Yi’s friend!” The manager was quite surprised. Working for the Li family for so many years, he had never seen Big Master bring a female friend home before.

Ni Xuanyi stood in the viewing area, excitedly playing with the two dogs walking around outside—the Samoyed and the Chrysanthemum Lion Dog. These two large dogs had been well-trained and were very intelligent; they seemed to sense that Ni Xuanyi was sincere about them, so it didn't take long for them to become familiar with her.

While playing with the dogs enthusiastically, Ni Xuanyi accidentally turned her head and noticed Li An standing nearby with his hands in his pockets. His beautiful eyes were slightly narrowed as he stared at her intently.

Ni Xuanyi inexplicably felt a bit scared and looked warily at Li An, "Where did you go just now I couldn't find you."

"I just went to get a cigarette for a moment, and then you ran off. Women really can’t be trusted with freedom," said Li An, feeling increasingly irritated seeing Ni Xuanyi playing happily with the dogs.

Ni Xuanyi didn't know why Li An suddenly became like this; she nervously withdrew slightly, "I... I wasn't intentionally running around. It's just that I couldn’t see you, so I came over here to look for you..."

"You came looking for me" said Li An as he glanced at the dogs in front of him with a mocking smile and an unhurried tone that carried hints of danger and resentment, "Do you really think I would be here"

Ni Xuanyi found his words amusing and couldn't help but laugh.

Li An clearly became even angrier; he let out a cold snort, "What's so funny Do you know what kind of food these dogs usually eat"

"Dog food, meat," replied Ni Xuanyi instinctively.

"Yes, eating meat, human meat." Li An's eyes were filled with murderous intent. "Let me tell you, I brought you here on purpose. Just now, I left intentionally and watched as you came over this way. Haha, every few days, I bring back a friend and use the same method to lure them here before throwing them into the base as living dog food!"

Ni Xuanyi stared in disbelief, "You... You're lying to me!"

"Why would I lie to you Do you think I'd be so kind to bring you out for fun" Li An blinked his captivating black eyes. "I love dogs the most, and I'm worried that the wild nature of the Tibetan mastiffs and sheepdogs will diminish if they're caged up, so I find living people to stimulate them, making them more robust and aggressive!"

Ni Xuanyi looked at the Tibetan mastiff with its gaping jaws and was so terrified that her legs were trembling. Her face turned pale as she bluffed loudly: "You... You wouldn't dare do that! It's illegal!"

"Law!!" Li An laughed arrogantly, "In this city, my family is the law. Do you think anyone outside will come looking for you if I feed you to the dogs"

Ni Xuanyi thought about how she had no relatives in the world; if Li An really fed her to his dogs, no one would look for her. The more she thought about it, the more scared she became. Her voice was filled with tears as she said, "I'll tell Li Yi brother that you're bullying me! I'm calling Li Yi brother right now!"

"Haha, what a silly girl you are! Li Yi isn't your brother; he's my real brother. Whatever I do, he knows about it.
